Tom comes highly recommended by Alan Lawdahl (See
“Accountants-Tax”) who has worked with his share of electricians during the
extensive remodeling of his current home and the building of prior homes. Alan writes:

Fees are very reasonable. In
fact, on the last job he did for me I ended up giving him more than he asked for
because he just didn’t charge enough for the services he provided…

WHO HE IS: Carol
and Bill have known Scott for many years, as Carol has known Scott’s brother,
Dave, since just after high school. All of our families get together once a year
for a weekend of camping up in the
Flagstaff
area. You really get to know people when you spend time in “the wilderness”
with them. Seeing Scott interact with the kids, taking time to give the little
ones rides on quads, etc., and sitting around the campfires talking about all
sorts of things, you get to see what a really nice guy he is. On top
of that, we have used Scott to do a number of electrical jobs inside and outside
our home (surround sound in living room, new fan installed on the patio,
light/fan fixtures replaced, etc.) and have been very pleased with the results. We appreciate his timeliness, the
quality of his work and the reasonable rates.
WHAT HE DOES: Scott has experience with all types of electrical work, both

GARAGE CABINETS
Chris Tornabene,
Garage Cabinets, Etc.
WHO HE IS: Both
John and Bill have had the privilege of working with Chris and his company. John
first used Chris to install cabinets in his garage and laundry room. He was so
pleased with the quality of the work and the price, after having shopped around
and compared workmanship, that he eagerly referred Chris to Bill. (Actually,
Chris, his receptionist, Debbie, John and Carol all conspired to surprise Bill
with a solid wall of floor-to-ceiling garage cabinets for a 2002 Christmas
present!) Bill then had additional cabinets installed on another two walls,
including some cabinets in a workbench area. Bill, being the perfectionist that
he tends to be, decided that the workbench cabinets needed to be a bit larger,
and had a few other items he wanted fixed. Chris came back out, replaced the
cabinets just for the incremental cost and fixed the other items, all in a
timely and pleasant manner.
The whole
experience has been very pleasant for both of us (Carol also wants you to know
just how professional she found the employee with whom she worked). Chris has
obviously worked at instilling a ServeFirst philosophy throughout his company.

WHAT HE DOES: As the name implies, Chris’ company sells
and installs garage cabinets. You get a very pleasant reception when you call
and talk to Debbie, you get Chris coming out to help you design the best layout
for your particular situation, you have the guys in their shop manufacturing the
cabinets and, finally, you get the guys coming out to install their product. The
combination of all four parts working in harmony allows Chris to provide such a
complete and satisfying product.
Chris indicates that his business philosophy is pretty
basic: keep it simple and be candid with people about what Garage Cabinets, Etc.
has to offer versus the competition. Being professional at all levels of his
company is something Chris works at each and every day.

WHO HE IS: Dave Schuman has been to John’s house on three occasions. The first
two times Dave felt that the “problem” was so minor that it really was not
anything to charge for. The third time he had to change the air- pump on a unit.
